By downloading, accessing, or using PastYou (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the App.

PastYou is a mobile application that allows users to record voice messages and schedule them for future playback as a form of personal accountability. The service is provided "as is" and is currently in a beta stage.

Ownership All voice recordings ("Echoes") created by you belong entirely to you. PastYou claims no ownership rights over the content you record.

Storage and Responsibility Because recordings are stored locally on your device by default, you are solely responsible for maintaining backups of your device if you wish to preserve your recordings. We are not responsible for any lost, deleted, or corrupted audio files.

You agree not to use the App for any unlawful purpose or in any way that interrupts, damages, or impairs the service. While your recordings are private, you are entirely responsible for the content you generate on your device.

The PastYou application, including its original content, features, functionality, and design, is owned by us and is protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express permission.

PastYou is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We do not warrant that the application will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We do not guarantee that your scheduled notifications will always trigger perfectly, as this often depends on your device's operating system and battery optimization settings.

In no event shall PastYou, nor its directors, employees, partners, or agents, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the App.

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any significant changes. Your continued use of the App following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
